What Could Cause Dizziness And Frequent Urination After Suffering Arterial Fibrillation All Through The Night?

Hi I am feeling quite dizzy and passing urine very frequently, I have arteria Fibrillation for which I take medication and I had an episode throughout the night! it has now subsided, could it be anything to do with that. I am currently in Dubai visiting family and have just returned from Sri Lanka just outside Columbo, An area that is malaria free although I had at least 40 mosquito bites most developing into blisters, they have just about cleared up now.

This is Dr.Suleman Resident in cardiology

well dear the causes of you atrial fibrillation must be known to know the side effect of the drugs you are taking. most commonly Atrial fibrillation is due to heart failure. and in heart failure they give you some drugs called diuretics which causes frequent urination. In our centre what we do is to change the timing of these drugs in such way that you dont need to get up for maturation at night. So i suugest you to visit your physician again and let him know about your case. and tell him you need this diuretic dose at 4 o clock instead of night time.
