What Could Cause Black Eye With Swollen Eyelid After Bursting Sty?
Hi there. I had a stye under my lower eyelid earlier this week (started Monday) little bit of eye discharge and swelling. The stye sort of popped last night and doesn t hurt anymore, but today i have a black eye and under my eyelid is swollen. There s also a white dot in the middle of the bruising that looks weird.

It seems from the history that you are having swollen eyelid with black eye after opening of stye.
This is because of hemorrhage into the layers of the skin of the eyelid as a result of bursting of the stye.
This is a self limiting condition and the treatment of stye by the use of antibiotics eye drops and antiinflammatory drugs and applying hot compression.
