What Could Cause A Small Black Eye In The Corner Of The Left Eye?

I noticed a small black eye in the corner of my left eye today, it was not there when I got home from work, then a couple hours later it appeared. I have had 2 surgeries in the past year, stents put in my popliteal vein of he left leg, I notice I have been bruising easily the past 6 months or so. I take insulin, novalog (sliding scale) Lantis 35 U per night. I take Plavix, diovan, Pravastatin, clopidogrel, Cilostazol, metformin and 1 aspirin a day. I have been dieting the past month, mostly vegetables. I just started taking Iron pills again due to the diet I'm on, I also take Vit D, B and I believe that's about it. I'm really nervous now. Should I just wait a few das to see if it goes away? I have no pain, blurry vision, etc...Thank you...Mary

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having black eye in the corner of the left eye.
This is because of collection of blood under the layers of skin or below the conjunctiva.
This is caused by minor injuries or because of spontaneous breaking of the fragile blood vessel as in diabetes, hypertension.

The treatment is generally not required as it resolves by 3-4 weeks as the blood gets absorbed.

Thank you
