What Could Cause A Leaking And Aching Ear After A Head Injury?

Hello Doc! My husband was in an accident Friday morning and hit his head hard enough to where it formed a lump. Now two days later his left ear (same side as head hit) is aching and was leaking. Could it be a busted ear drum? What can he take for pain? (Ear drops?) Thank you for your time!

I think ur husband had internal injury, it could be simple tympanic membrane rupture or it could be internal injury causing csf leak. do not put any drops till u evaluate with ent surgeon.
