What Could Be The Yellowish String In The Stool?
I am 20 years old and perfectly healthy in almost every way. Today I found a yellowish string in my stool and am very concerned. It was not segmented, and was about 4 inches long and a half to one milimeter thick... however it was not a perfectly straight string and seemed more like a vegatable fiber than a worm. nor was it perfectly smooth and sleek in shape... it seemed to have... notches in it. Should I be worried about parasites?

Dear sometimes Strands of fiber from food such as lettuce, raw vegitables, and other foods can produce this type of thing.ocattionally pork tape worm look like this but they are like brown in color. Please consult your doctor he will advice stool for microscopy then teat you accordingly.
