What Could Be The Red Mark On Left Side Of Neck?

i noticed this morning i have a red mark on the left side of my neck coming from my ear but i thought it was a scratch..i got home and its still like that but i noticed my left earlobe is now swollen a little bit...i have a sore throat and my ears are achey..what could this be?

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.
It sounds like hypersensitivity to insect bite or a pre warning sign of a viral infection.
Take oral anti allergic medication like cetrizine /loratadine, oral anti inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen / paracetamol, and apply topical steroids like hydrocortisone over the mark. If the lesion fails to resolve, see your physician to rule out a viral infection and prescription of proper antibiotics like azithromycin for sore throat.
