What Could Be The Reasons For Fever And Flu Of A 3 Year Old Child?
I know of 2 or 3 year old little girl...she is the hospital right now because she is running a fever of 107 an also has the flu,,,, when she was born doctor's said that she had an infection of her gums...could you help explain what the problem could be

if the fever is of short duration though high grade it is likely to be viral. please get her investigated for malaria n do a blood count too. it would give us an idea of bacterial sepsis. also look for any urinary symptoms, productive cough which is likely to cause such high grade fever.
