What Could Be The Reason For Unable To See Things Properly?
my dad is having a bad day, he said he got lost 4 times driving today, he was seeing things out of the corner of his eye multiple times, he spent 5000 dollars without knowing why and now he just got out of bed and is watching tv at a very loud level when he has to wake up in a couple hours for work. can this be anything serious?

It seems from the history that your dad is having unable to focus thing properly.
This indicates problems with the accommodative system resulting in decreased ability to focus. The common cause is presbyopia, an age related ddecrease in the accommodation.
The treatment is by prescription of near addition in the form of spectacles.
