What Could Be The Reason For Sore Tongue , Suggest Treatment.

My tongue seems to be a bit swollen with sores on the tip of my tongue to like the way back and my inside cheeks have sores. It's kinda hard to swallow as well. Now when I stick my tongue all the way out, on the sides of my tongue looks like white skin.
What should I do? What is this?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
You could be having either apthous ulcers or oral candidiasis. Without an opportunity to examine the lesion, I would not be able to accurately specify the condition. You might need to consider a consultation with dermatologist for assessment and work up.
The alternate option is to ask me a direct query by clicking on this short url http://bit.ly/dr-j-chacko , where you have an option of uploading a picture of the lesion which will help a great deal in diagnosing the condition.
Take care.
