What Could Be The Reason For Severe Pain When Swallowing, Tension In The Neck And Knot/lump In The Neck?

I think I have tonsillitis again but my symptoms are worse than usual with tension in my neck on one side and a knot/lump in my neck by my tonsil but below it. It is very painful to swallow but I am not coughing much. What are sure signs of throat cancer? Because I beginning to think that s what this is.

Hello,
I have reviewed your history donot be anxious I can understand your problem. As it is causing more pain you have lost the patience.
As for as your symptoms are concerned they are suggesting of Phyarginitis and Tonsillitis.
The symptoms of throat pain is different it would be difficulty in swallowing,Loss appetite, Loss of weight, change in the voice etc. Donot worry you are not having those symptoms.
Mu advise will be
1. Gargle with Chlorhexidine
2. Oral Antibiotics
3. Oral Analgesics and Antipyretics.
Feel free to ask and keep patience.
Thank you.
