What Could Be The Reason For Having Sore Throat And Itchy Elbows?

I have a very sore throat (it has been about 5 days now). I had a fever 5 days ago but haven't had it since then. I feel OK apart from the agony of a throat. My GP said it was viral tonsillitis so I haven't been able to take antibiotics. Now I have very itchy elbows! Is there a link at all??

Hi thanks for contacting HCM..

Mostly pharyngitis is because of viral infection .....by adenovirus , influenza etc....
It might be allergic inflammation also as you are having itchy elbow ....

So for itchy elbow take antihistaminic drug like levocetrizine.....for five days. ...

Meanwhile for few days excess spicy food avoided ....

Drink lots of fluid .....

Smoking avoided ....

Now your symptoms improving ....
So no need for worry .....

If sore throat still there swab taken and send for culture and sensitivity ...
