What Could Be The Dark And Growing Ridge Shaped Indentation In Center Of Forehead?

in the last 12 months i have noticed a darkening and growing ridge shaped indentation in the center of my forehead. From my hairline , down. It is not a perfect verticle line and is slightly angled. The sking in the center of this ridge seem slightly different

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibility of Fronto-Parietal Morphea/Linear Morphea.

It is an autoimmune condition. It presents with a groove running down the forehead and is associated with atrophy of the skin as well as underlying skull bone to a variable degree.

Treatment is difficult because the atrophy is difficult to reverse.

Various treatment options are :
-Topical Steroids
-Topical Tacrolimus
-Topical PUVA
-UVA1 Phototherapy.

I would advice that you see a dermatologist who would tell you more about this condition and the various treatment options. You could choose the beast treatment option in consultation with the dermatoogist.
