What Could Be The Clear Colored Fluid Leakage In 37th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi I am 37 weeks pregnant today. I have been having a slight leakage for about 2 weeks now. It can happen at any time of the day or night even when I have just emptied my bladder. I have been told that the babys head is right down although I am sure my waters have not broken. I am havibg slight pain low down in my stomach and back area. Can you please explain what the leakage is? It is a clear coloured fluid?

Hi. You are at term pregnancy now. Leakage means discharge of liquor or amniotic fluid per vaginum. It keeps on leaking and makes your clothes wet as if you passed urine in your clothes. Sometimes, it comes like a gush and then stops and membranes get sealed at that point. It can also be simply vaginal infection and vaginal discharge. But all the more important is I will advise you to see your gynecologist to determine whether you are in labour at this time and needs admission with all these symptoms.
Thanks.
