What Could Be The Cause Of Vomiting In A Child?

Hi Doctor,

My 3 years old daughter has vomited 2-3 time this morning between 8-10am. First couple of vomits were transparent foamy liquid about 2-3 tablespoons each time. 3rd one was a bit yellowish in color. Please suggest what could be the reason for this and what precautions can we take.

Many thanks

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM
Viral gastritis/ hyperacidity may be the probabale cause.
She can be given some antriemetic like ondensetron. along with some antacid like digene gel.
Please take care of the hydration.
Food causing hyperacidity to be avoided like junk food chips etc
Hope the query is answered.
