IMy stomach has been swollen for 6months or more the swelling will not go away I previously was getting fluid drained and I am also taking fluid pills everyday and it is not helping. What could this be and what can I take to stop the swelling?
HI Well come to HCM Your query being appreciated, as a matter of fact the underlying cause of the abdomen distension is matter of concern, it may be ascites because it is the history of malignancy you have so it could be secondary lesion that needs to be ruled out it may be the cause of ascites or abdomen swelling or the distention, jus the symptom can not be treated like that only in your case, the underlying cause of abdomen swelling matters the great, in my opinion it is advisable to have word or discuss it with your doctor and hope this information helps.
