What Could Be Cause Of Variation In HCG Level?

I had a d&c done 0n 5/1 I didn t go back to follow up so I don t know where my hcg levels where.Anyway I went in for blood work on Monday 6/10 my hcg levels were 1000.Went back again on Thursday they were 1700...I have also been spotting brown for about a week now:(

Hello,
I don't think you HCG levels should be so elevated a month after your D and C. Could you be pregnant again? Is it possible? I think the next best step would be to check the level again in 48 hours. Usually the HCG will double every 2 days if you are indeed pregnant.
