What Could Be Cause Of Spotting With Negative Pregnancy And Ovulation Tests ?
I am 25 year old female, Married. I have a 28-30 days cycle. i have quite regular cycle . I had a heavy flow last time. and it lasted for 6 days. This time my periods are late for 24days. I took many Home pregnancy tests but all came negative. But few days back the ovulation test came positive twice. So yesterday After that i did the Home pregnancy test in the morning with first urine. It came back negative. Also today i did ovulation test again and it also came back negative. But today i observed a little spotting and it was different than usal bleeding . I am so confused.Does that mean i am pregnant? can the spotting occur due to some other reasons as well. Please answer.I am very scared. I am not ready for the pregnancy right now. Please guide.

Read your prob, your period is delay upto 24 days n pregnancy test is negative so you should get blood test for Hcg for confirmation n get sonography as there is more chance of getting pregnant. spotting occure after 19 to 20 days of unprotected sex, if you had unprotected sex 19 days before spotting then sure you get pregnant. consult with your doc n do as per his advise.

Spotting could be one of the symptom of pregnancy.
But it is not confirmatory evidence for pregnancy.
Ovulation test only suggests that you are capable of being pregnant.
Check for other symptoms like nausea or vomiting, Breast tenderness, fatigue.
Now you can again check for urine sample.
If the sample is positive, you can consult a gynecologist for confirmation.
