What Could Be A Weird Worm Looking Thing In The Surgical Drain Tubes ?

What could a weird worm looking thing in your surgical drain tubes be , 3 days after surgery to have breast tissue removed? It s like 2 inches and 2 mm. in diameter. Deep Red and glossy and tough on the outside. With weird kind of fiberous white things connecting to the ends.
