What Could Abnormal Shadows In Brain On CT-scan Be?

My brother in law today passed out at work...suspected seizure. He was taken by ambulance to hospital unconscious where a CT was done. The scan showed abnormal shadows on the brain... Drs have ordered further tests and an MRI for tomorrow... What could it be?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

According to the reports there are abnormal shadows in the brain. It may be due to many reasons like infection, tumour etc.
You need contrast CT Scan or MRI brain(Plain and contrast)for further evaluation.
Besides this you need clinical correlation and routine blood investigations.
Hope i have answered your query.

Take Care
