What Could A Knot And Painful Arm After Having Blood Drawn Indicate?
I had blood drawn on Tuesday and when the phlebotomist withdrew the needle I had a sharp pain but did not say anything. Now 4 days later I am still having pain when I bend or use the arm and today I noticed a large knot about 2-3 inches away from the site but no bruising. I was wondering if this is just a thrombosis or something I should consults a dr about?
Since it's past 3 days please confirm with a doctor. Thrombophleb gel application can help. I would have advised this if immediately you had noticed. Now it's better to confirm to rule out infection.
