What Causes Yellowish Vaginal Discharge?
Hello, I was just wondering, I started a generic antifungal cream rite aid brand yesterday(1 dose) and it didn t seem to be working. I guess it was because a lot came out since I didn t take it at night. So I took another dose of monistat 1 instead. I had a large amount of brown discharge. Today, there s no itching inside, it s just on the outside and it looks like there s a rash, will this go away normally or did the treatment fail? Also today, there was some yellow discharge followed by pink discharge today is all this dischage normal? I am also on medication for bv which caused the yeast infection in the first place.

Your symptoms could be due to vaginal infection like bacterial vaginosis.
Examination by gynaecologist, vaginal swab test and vaginal microscopy help in the diagnosis.
Gynaecologist will provide following advises:
Single dose treatment of azithromycin + secnidazole + fluconazole
Apply clotrimazole and lactobacilli suppository
Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar
Apply vagisil cream
Wear pure cotton loose inner and keep the area clean and dry
Treatment of partner is also required
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet
