What Causes Worm Coming Out Of Anus During Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, my name is sheena. I am 28 years old and was carrying my 32weeks 1 day, my first child. I was 150cm tall and weight 64kg. I have no medical problems. My problem is, a few hours ago a worm (white small worm) just came out from my anal. It was itchy and this was the first time. My eating appetite is good, I take care of my hygiene before taking meals including my physicall hygiene. I wonder how did I get the worm, will there be more worm to came out from my anal? I m afraid if the worm can harm my baby.What should I do? Thank you doctor..

The first thing is to confirm the presence of parasites in your GIT (gastrointestinal tract) using a stool sample to be provided to the laboratory.
The next thing to do is to meet a doctor with the test results and decide whether or not the risks outweight the benefits for initiating on dewroming medication. In my opinion, as you are in your third trimester it is best to avoid these medications as their effect on pregnant women is still unknown.
You could have got the worm from the food you eat, especially if you eat pork. But without a discussion with you I cannot accurately comment on the possible cause.
