What Causes White Flakes In My Stools With Recurrent Diverticulitis?

I have diverticulosis, with recurrent diverticulitis. I just finished a round of antibiotics for this a week ago. I am now noticing increasing numbers of white flakes in my stool. They appear like large pieces of rice or fingernails. Very white flakes imbedded in fairly normal to soft stools. no pain. Can you tell me what this might indicate? Thank you.

HI
Well come HCM
I really appreciate your concern, what you are noticing in the stool could be tape worm (Nematodes) but as matter of fact the stool examination is the only option to get this confirm, second it may not be worm but it may be due to the diet taken, without confirmation it can not be treated, so in my opinion it is better to get done the stool examination, hope this information helps.
