What Causes Water Filled Cyst After Surgery For Ovarian Cyst?
I had laparoscopic surgery to remove an ovarian cyst 8 days ago. I returned to my doctor yesterday for my post-op appointment and after having an ultrasound, he told me that something has filled with blood at the the site where the cyst was located. However, he said that the surgery was successful and the cyst was removed. I did not understand what he was talking about and am unable to find an explanation anywhere online. Can anyone help?

Sometimes adhesions are formed and they are filled with reactionary fluids that go with time. Not to worry. Just get an MRI pelvis done.
