Hallow Dear,
The blood in the
vomiting can be from different sources.
It may come from the throat in form of streaks. It happens when due to excessive vomiting, the throat is inflamed and injured. It is associated with
sore throat or pain in the throat. To overcome this, you have to chew some throat lozenges. Alternatively or in addition, you may drink milk with a teaspoonful of honey in it. It will soothen the throat and will give you some relief.
If the stomach acidity has increased too much, causing
gastritis, some bleeding may occur in the stomach which may come through the vomitus. Even the lower end of food pipe also may cause bleeding. In such case, the blood is mixed in the vomitus and does not come out as streaks. To manage this, some antacids like Gelucil, mucain gel are better than long acting antacids like
proton pump inhibitors. If you can tolerate and retain,
cold buttermilk (not sour) will give you some relief.
Please do not take any medicines for stopping the vomiting without consulting an obstetrician. Many medicines used to control vomiting, particularly in first 8 weeks, have got bad effect on the growing baby inside the
uterus.
I hope this will help you to overcome your problem.
