Hallow,
Nausea and
vomiting during
pregnancy is a known symptom. Sometimes it gets worsened requiring some intervention. However, these symptoms usually disappear by completion of 3 months. In your case, it is continuing even at the completion of 4 months.
The very fact that after eating spicy food, you are getting red or brown vomits suggest that you may be having gastritis; i.e. inflammation of the stomach. The red vomits suggest blood in the vomitus. Probably due to this your vomiting is continued.
You have to shift to soft and bland diet only. Banana and melon like fruits with
cold milk will give you some relief. Have liquid short but frequent feeds which will not tax your stomach.
You need to control this acidity by medicines. Some
proton pump inhibitors will help you.
Have you done your ultrasonography? Sometimes in cases where the baby is replaced by grapes like molar tissue, nausea and vomiting is continued for a longer time. Make sure your baby is normal with normal heart beats.
Please report to your Obstetrician, rule out molar pregnancy and get medicines to control gastritis and also medicines to control vomiting. Please do not take medicines for vomiting without Obstetrician's advice as many such medicines are known to cause abnormalities in the baby.
I hope you will take the right step now.
