What Causes Vomiting And Loose Motion In A Child Despite Having Diarrhoea?

my son is 4 yrs old and suffering from chicken pox. today is his fifth day. but from last three days he is vomitting and have loose motion (very loose). he isnot having fever. he is playing normally but have less appetitte. can we give him butter milk, coconut water. All these symptoms are normal

Hi

Some children with chickenpox may also experience additional symptoms such as high fever, headache, cold-like symptoms, vomiting and diarrhoea.Adequate hydration should be encouraged.Yes you can give him tender coconut,buttermilk and ORS solution.
