What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhea In A Toddler?

Hello there, My baby is 2.3 yrs old. Last night she hadn t eated much n in the early morning around 5 a.m she vomited n after some time from morning her loose motions started. Till 2 pm she had done it 3 times. It was light yellow n white in color. From yesterday she is not eating much. So chemist gave us PowerGyl (NF). How much ml should i give to my baby n overall is this medicine perfect for her...?? Plzz rep ASAP. Thanxx in Advance. Sarika

I really appreciate your concern, most of the diarrhea in this age group are self limiting and may not needs any treatment but of course hydration need to be taken care anti biotic needs to be avoided if it is not infection or not proved this, at the most lyophilized Lactobacillus can be tried hope this information helps.
