My husband has been having middle-of-the-night vomiting and diarrhea about every ten days. He also had a bit of blood in his urine and pain when urinating. The doctor discovered a urinary tract infection and gave him antibiotics. The urinary symptoms are better now, but he just had another midnight gastrointestinal event. Does this sound like bladder stones? The last blood test indicated not, but now the doctor says maybe. I know that both his mom and his grandfather had to have their gall bladders removed at some point too. He is getting blood tests tomorrow and an ultrasound Thursday. Is there anything else we should be thinking of?
