What Causes Vision Distortion And Dizziness In The Mornings?

I am having vision issues especially first thing in the mornings when I wake up and cannot focus on objects and appear closer than it really is. I am also getting dizziness at times were I have to lay down because of it. What is causing these symptoms?

Following conditions can manifest in similar complaints as mentioned by you :
1. Aniseikonia
2. macular swelling
3.cataract
4. presbyopia
5. astigmatism
6. diabetes
7. anemia
8. hypotension
9. kidney diseases
10 . thyroid problems
11. certain medicines like antihypertensives also can cause such symptoms.

Episodes of dizziness can be related with the causes of vision distortion and can also be separate entity as well . Hypo-tension , Hypoglycemia , inner ear problems are well known for causing such dizzy spells which should also be evaluated .
I would strongly recommend you to get your eyes tested with ophthalmologist and get a general check up done with your PCP to find out the exact cause of such symptoms .
