Hi, I am using for the first time Tablet Krimson for past 12 days from the first day of my period. But still I have spotting and stomach pain. I want to know that is side effect of the tablet or any other reason for this continuous spotting. And give me suggestion for stopping this.

Hello,
Whenever you initiate hormone therapy there is always a possibility of breakthrough bleeding as a side effect. This can be seen in the initial 2-3 cycles of pill usage. This should settle down later. If it does not, you should ask your consultant to evaluate for any cardiovascular side effects which are often seen with hormones. Pain is the symptom which warrants medical attention now. The pill may be changed for those with lower dose hormones to lessen the side effects. Prior evaluation through blood counts and liver and renal function tests may also be necessary. Hope this helps.
