What Causes Vaginal Soreness After A Hysterectomy?

I had a bag hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. I have been doing great but while healing I have always felt a tightness and pulling sensation. I no longer feel the pulling or tightness but feel very sore inside my vagina. I took a mirror and took a look and did see something that looked like a sore. What could this be ? It stings when I sit on the toilet? I am going to see my surgeon tomorrow?

Hi, I think it can be the vault sutures which have not healed till now. It may take some time to heal like 2 to 4 weeks. You can apply some ointment like metrogyl P inside the vagina. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
