What Causes Vaginal Pain, Swelling Of Labia And Abnormal White Discharge?
Hi, Around my period time (which was due a week ago) I started to get a lot of pain around my vagina. I now still havnt got my period and my vagina lips are very swollen with a very rough texture. I don t know how to describe this but it s almost like when you burn your tongue and the tastebuds flare up... It s like that but on the inside of the walls. Also my urine can burn and I m getting abnormal amounts of discharge. The discharge is almost on the verge of cream but still very much white. Sometimes it gets to the stage where I think I have wet myself but it s actually the amount of discharge I get. I try to keep myself very very clean and I have never been sexually active so it can t be a sexually transmitted disease. What s happening?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out the condition. Using clotrimazole cream (monistat ) locally will be helpful. If that is not helping then fluconazole tab orally weekly once for 1 month along with this will be helpful. Using intimate wash regularly will help you to prevent getting such infections in future. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
