What Causes Vaginal Discharge And Pelvic Pressure During Pregnancy?

Hi I am 40+3 weeks pregnant and I have been getting very uncomfortable and feeling a lot of pressure on my pelvis and what i think may be braxon hicks. But I have also been waking up in puddles of discharge for the last two nights is this normal and does this mean labour is comming?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion pelvic pressure might be normal in case of term pregnancy.The excess vaginal discharge needs examination to rule out any infection so that it can be treated before delivery to prevent the spread of infection to baby.Also get examined by your consultant to check for any cervical changes.Observe the fetal movements.
