What Causes Vaginal Bleeding With Normal Ultrasound?

Hi , I am 49 yrs old, 130 pounds, good health, active. I do have a fibroid and had an ultra sound and all seems to be fine there not intruding or the cause. I am told. I have been having bleeding for over a year now every day. I had a 6 week relief when I tried acupuncture. Now that isn t working. I am bleeding everyday again. I saw a doctor that said my only remediy is surgery. I am hoping for an alternative. I tried Depo, in the beginning and that made me bleed everyday as well. I am so frustrated and just don t want surgery. Any recommendations?

I can understand your concern. As you have fibroid, the long bleeding cycles are understandable. If you will go for any other therapy than surgery, you will get temporary relief unless the cause is permanently removed. You have already experienced that with acupuncture and Depo.

Surgeries for fibroids are practiced frequently by gynecologists and they are quite safe to perform. You might be feeling apprehensive due to the word surgery, but you will find relief from bleeding problems permanently.
