I started seeing someone and we have tried to have sex 3 times now. Each time I immediatly start bleeding. There is no pain at all and only happens during sex. It also is a decent amount of blood. A few months ago I did take plan b I made an appointment but that can not see me for three weeks. I am hoping to have some insight to my problem
Vaginal Bleeding during or immediately after intercourse is called as post coital bleeding. You have not mentioned your age. It would carry a lot of weightage. Post coital bleeding in elderly women is indicative of some lesion on the mouth of the uterus - called as cervix. In fact the dictum in Gynaec education and practise is that any post-coital bleeding should be investigated for cancer of cervix. Of course age is not bar for this. It can happen at any age. If there is no cervical cancer, may be there is some lesion or ulcer on the cervix or vagina. The best advice is not to ignore and get thoroughly examined and investigated from a Gynaecological physician to rule out any threatening condition.
