What Causes Vaginal Bleeding And Stomach Pain With Positive Pregnancy Test?

hello.. i have started bleeding around my periods date. but the bleending is not stopped on day 9 then i did the prenancy test and they were positive . i was having pain on righ side of lower abdomen. but now today is the 11 day of bleeding , till yesterday the bleeding was brught red in color but now its brown in color..and no pain on right side. please answer

Vaginal bleeding with a positive pregnancy test is serious thing not to want to take chances with. It is an obstetrical emergency and you have to immediately see your doctor.

Causes could be varied and all potentially dangerous/lethal. With a positive pregnancy test, the causes of your bleeding could be abortion in either of its forms ( inevitable or incomplete), it could also be the more lethal ectopic pregnancy etc. With excessive bleeding you go into shock.

However, if the test was negative, it could have been likely that you have abundant menses (menorrhagia)
