What Causes Upper Abdominal Pain Before Having Period?

Hi I get a painful upper abdomen pain usually a day or two before my period, I feel somewhat better when I lie down. This pain is very new I only started to experience it 2 years or so ago after I had my second child. I just had my 3rd child 3 months ago and the pain has started again. What could it possibly be?

Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

it is actually a normal process and it happens because of the spasm of the uterus to shed the inner lining of the fertilization of the egg did not happen.

so to reduce the pain take analgesic and anti spasmodic like diclofenac tablet 50 mg twice a day and buscopan tablet twice day.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
