Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The quality control of illegal drugs, sadly, is just not very good. While
heroin does not have much interaction with
methamphetamine, this says nothing about what is actually in the drugs you are taking. An over-the-counter urine test would evaluate SOME of the possibilities.
Then, stimulants raise blood pressure and
heart rate and cause multiple symptoms TEMPORARILY. If they persist past the "high" that can imply serious
injury and this needs evaluation.
Addiction is an illustrative point. Just thinking that it is a bad idea to use them is not likely to be very helpful. What is helpful is developing an instinctual fear of what you are addicted to.
As far as an aversion is concerned, I suspect you are not going to use methamphetamine again, but will have more issues with heroin.
Suboxone is good, but it has to be put into a context.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
