What Causes Toothache And Pink Watery Discharge From Nose?

I've been having thin-feeling drainage when I lie down for the past few days, and just now I leaned over and light pink watery discharge ran out of my nose. Seems weird. No headache. I've got a little bit of a toothache and a little sinus pressure behind on eye. Just gotten over a cold in the past week. Is it something to be concerned about?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain thin watery nasal discharge with a pink tinge can be due to traces of blood in it..
As you are also suffering from sinus pressure also there is a possibility that there is sinusitis secondary to cold that is caused due to viral infection and inflammation in sinus lining can lead to mild bleeding..

In case if you have a toothache that is diffused and all the teeth on the same side hurts then it is also due to sinus infection but in case if the pain is localized to a single tooth then it can be due to deep infection in tooth and in case if it is an upper jaw tooth and in case if it is a back tooth, then at times infection in upper back tooth can cause sinus infection if the roots of the tooth are in close association with the sinus which is commonly seen..

Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and HE CAN ALSO ADVISE YOU TO GET pns VIEW X-RAY AS WELL AS X RA TO THE PAINFUL TOOTH DONE..
In case if the infection is in sinus antibiotics like Levofloxacin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Naproxen, saline nasal irrigations, steroid nasal sprays and steam inhalations will relieve..
In case if decayed tooth is causing sinus infection then treatment of the tooth with either root canal treatment followed by antibiotics and painkillers will help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
