What Causes Toe Pinprick Sensations Continuously?

I have a pin prick sensation on the top of my big toe.At first I thought an ant had bitten me but this sensation keeps happening. It doesn t matter if I m standing, sitting, or laying down it can happen at any time. I m otherwise in good health overall.
