What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Legs During Pregnancy?

Hi. I am currently 10.5 weeks pregnant, and I am having tingly sensations in my legs when I walk. The tingle is not like a numbing or stinging sensation but like chill bumps from being too cold. I also feel dizzy and have a slight headache. Is this normal and something I should just take it easy for a day or two on or should I go see my doctor? I have been diagnosed and am taking medicine for hypertension. I also take progesterone, baby aspirin, and a prenatal daily. I ve had 3 previous miscarriages as well.

Hi, I think it can be due to blood pressure fluctuations. Get your blood pressure measured at intervals. Also get your sugar levels checked. I think you should do a thyroid and APLA profile also . Generally APLA profile is done in non pregnancy state, but you can get an idea of autoimmune disease by doing it. You can take daily injections of heparin to prevent miscarriages. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
