What Causes Tightness And Numbness In The Chest?

I am a 38 year old male. I was seen by my doctor 2 days ago. I have been experiencing some tightness in the chest and tingling/numbness feeling down through my left arm. The doctor took x ray and saw that I had what he claims is pneumonia in my left lung. He prescribed strong antibiotics. I have started to have more tightness in the chest that comes and goes with the numbing and tingling in left are. I also feel flush. I have a mild ache over the area of my heart. No chest pain. I have been to ER a 4 times in past 2 months and blood test normal,nuclear stress test normal and EKG normal. Is this probably anxiety or should I go in to the ER for the 5th time to make sure?

Your ecg and stress test normal.
So no cardiac cause present....

You had given antibiotic for pneumonia.
But it doesn't seem pneumonia as cough , fever etc not present..For confirmation chest x ray can done.

Here you could have yes anxiety induce mild pain....
So try to avoud stress.
Consult psychiatrist for counselling.
Anxiolytic drug can be given....

Don't worry.
You will be alright.

If still want to investigate spirometry can be done...
