What Causes Tightening Of Throat And Numbness On Arm?

I feel a tightening of my throat and numbnesss of my left side of my arm... its almost a suffocating feeling.. but i can still breath.. it just feels like I am about to suffocate.. the numbness first happen last saturday night.. not the tightening.. then.. within 3-5 days... it happened again.. now I am feeling the tightening sensation.. its very uncomfortable.. I almost feel like my heart is racing.. waht could these symptoms mean

Dear for me it seems panic attacks which may cause episodic palpitations, squeezing pain, tightness in chest/throat. other possibilities like gastroesophageal reflex or cardiac problems,episodic asthma etc.. please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
