What Causes Throat Infection?
I had what I thought was a strep throat infection - acute onset of body aches, sore throat and low grade temp (100.0) with exudate on my tonsills. I took a full Z-pak since I am Penicillin allergic. My symptoms went away completely after the 2nd day of antibiotics. Today, I checked out my throat just for kicks...no symptoms whatsoever, and both my tonsils have exudate again. Should I be concerned?
