Hi, My husband has been seeing a Dr. for over a year now for a skin condition involving his hands and feet. the skin keeps going through cycles of thickening, cracking open and bleeding. At this point they are very stiff and painfull.Then thick layers peel off. It started on one hand and after a while it spread to the other. About 5 months after this started, my husband broke his foot, and by the time his foot had healed the skin condition had spread to the bottom of that foot. The Dr.had treated him for Psoriasis, with shots,oral medications, creams, and ointments. The Dr. said he had no idea what this condition is, did a biopsy, which came back neg. Did a skin scraping to test for fungal infection. 3 wks. later he said it was pos. and put him on oral fungal meds. Nothing has worked.We are about to try another Dr. Any sugestions?
