What Causes Temporary Partial Loss Of Vision?

I recently had temporary partial loss of vision in the left eye followed by what appeared to be what looked like an electric centipede with a blured midsection. It started out small and seemed to grow. I work with flat screen computer monitors at work 8hrs a day. I take breaks often and take other precautions to protect my eyes. What just happened to me?

Hi
It appears to muscae or floaters in eye.
These are more precipitated in stressed eyes.
You should follow management of computer vision syndrome on line.
Improve blinking, no water splashing, no rubbing, use hand key for touching eyes.
