What Causes Swollen Vagina And Stomach Bloating While On Trinessa?

I take tri ness a birth control. my symptoms include: bloating, swollen and hot neck/lymph nodes and the outside of my vagina is normal but internally it has almost swollen closed. I am very concerned in the change. I have only been sexually active once 5 months ago. I don t know what is wrong

Thanks for your query I understand your concern & would try to solve it.
Trinessa is a combined oral contraceptive . Bloated abdomen & water retention causing swelling are known side effects of the drug .. specially seen in early days of consumption. It usually subsides over the time. But if it dose'nt within few months , or increases.. you should consult your doctor for changing the pill to a safer one.
