What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Under The Jaw And Sore Throat?
Yes I had swollen lymph nodes and then I started to feel and poke and squeeze my left lymph node under the jaw and it's gotta big I have a sore throats congestion but no night sweats loss of weight no chills no fever Is squeezing and poking my lymph nodes causing it to swell thank you
As per your complain swollen lymph nodes along with sore throat and congestion can be due to viral throat infection and it can be a probable cause for lymphadenopathy. I would suggest you to consult a physician and get evaluated.
You can be advised:
1. Gargle with a warm saline solution that is by mixing 1 teaspoon salt in a glass of water and warm it to make a lukewarm solution.
2. Take a combination of decongestant like phenylephrine, mucolytic like ambroxol and anti allergic levocetrizine and another combination of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen.
3. Do steam inhalations.
4. Avoid spicy and chilled foods.
5. Sip on warm water throughout the day.
6. Do cool compresses over the lymph nodes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
