What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In Groin And Neck?

I have a 5 year old with swollen gland in groin area and neck she had MMR shot about 2 weeks ago the gland in her groin area has not gone she did have a UTI before the shot The doctor said her tonsils were large but my daughter doesn t complain eats well no fever I was wondering wat do you think could be going on thank you

First i want to assure you that there is no relation between the vaccine shot and the lymphnode enlargement.
Even if the tonsils are large and your daughter is asymptomatic, it is an incidental finding.And it will never be related to his groin swelling.
Most probably the cause for her groin swelling that is the enlaged lymphnodes will be her UTI.
Few investugatiobs like urine routine, urine culture, ultrasound scan of abdomen with pelvis will give us a clear cut picture of the problem.
If is a conformed case of UTI she will require a course of antibiotics.
Take care of your child.
